03.11.2009 - Savolainen gets Vance & Hines engine

Timo Savolainen will get a 2009 model Vance & Hines engine. Engine has been used in NHRA-series during the season 2009 and it is Suzuki based engine. This has been confirmed during last weekend and engine will arrive in to the Finland beginning of February 2010.

24.09.2009 - Savolainen in to the Pro Stock Bike

Last couple of years Finnish riders has bought a lot of Super Twin's and even one Top Fueler. We also have had a one Finnish Pro Stock Bike European Champion, which is Fredrik Fredlund. Now also Timo Savolainen is heading for Pro Stock Bike, because he need a new challenges after riding 11 years in Super Gas Bike. Savolainen has ordered new chassi from Sweden and also 2009 model Vance & Hinesin Suzuki 1650cc engine for it. 2010 still goes basicly by testing and finding a set-up for the bike, but hopefully Timo can drive a couple of races as well. It is not even out of question that Timo would drive even a couple of racer with his former love Super Gas Bike. Anyway Timo is not going to drive Finnish Championship series. Savolainen wants to thank all the sponsors and partners from past season's and hope that sponsors and partners will join with him for the new challenges.
